PHD Projects was incorporated in 2002 and is led by Philip Heslop, a graduate of Imperial College, London University. Philip is able to draw on wide experience gained in a 30-year career in the electronics industry in the fields of electronic hardware design, microprocessor applications, software design and international R & D management. Much of this has been gained in exacting process-driven and regulated industries such as telecommunications and the nuclear industry.

This background enables PHD Projects to contribute to product development at many levels including feasibility studies, electronic hardware design/prototyping, software design and project management. The company has a growing order book and is active in the fields of nuclear CCTV systems, wireless remote monitoring, MIDI instrument control and switch mode power supplies.
